WHAT WE DO

The Foundation focuses on three main areas to continue Brock’s legacy. 100% of donations received are invested in these three areas.

Travel Baseball

The BrockStrong Foundation hosts an annual Labor Day Baseball Tournament where the teams are encouraged to exhibit Brock’s character and good sportsmanship. The foundation also grants travel baseball scholarships.

Nationwide Children's Hospital

The BrockStrong Foundation partners with Nationwide Children’s Hospital by giving financial assistance to families, and by donating items such as gift cards, iPads, wagons, boardgames, etc. making their stay more comfortable.

The Community

The BrockStrong Foundation shows its support to the community through random acts of kindness such as paying for gas and groceries, donating food to the local food pantry, sponsoring blood drives, and so much more!

Backpacks for Foster Care

On May, 15 volunteers joined BSF board member, Chris Shaffery, and his family to fill 100 backpacks with essential items for children and families in need.

The backpacks were donated to Fairfield County Protective Services for children in foster care and to the YMCA Van Buren Emergency Shelter, which supports families with children, as well as single men and women facing difficult circumstances.

Each item was thoughtfully selected to bring comfort, joy, and a reminder that these individuals are loved and cared for.

Room
Makeover

Our first room makeover of 2026 was for the beautiful Scarlett, and what a special transformation it was!

Scarlett had two spaces she dreamed of updating: her bedroom and her playroom.

She wanted a space that felt more teen-appropriate, a fun space where she and her friends could relax, create memories, and simply enjoy being kids.

Her vision included pink and black décor, along with two requestss: a snack bar and a vanity.

Easter Eggs
filling

More than 50 incredible volunteers recently came together to help the Brockstrong Foundation fill 10,000 Easter eggs with candy for the Canal Winchester Community Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Canal Winchester Human Services.

This large-scale project required teamwork, energy, and dedication, and our volunteers stepped up in an amazing way to help make this community tradition possible for local families and children.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated their time to support this effort. Your willingness to serve and give back continues to make a meaningful impact throughout our community.
