BROCK LOVED READING!

Little Free Libraries

Canal Winchester Boy Scout, Luke Smithers, partnered with the Brockstrong Foundation and Canal Winchester Middle School librarian, Heather Baugess, to build and install two Little Free Libraries for his Eagle Scout project. Brock loved reading so the Little Free Library was a perfect project for the Brockstrong Foundation to fund.

Little Free Libraries are small book boxes that promote literacy by encouraging people of all ages to check the box for books they would like to read. People can donate new or gently used books directly to the box, take a book to read, or borrow a book and put it back after they have read it.

The new boxes are located at Guiler Park (beside the Canal Winchester city pool) and outside of Olive Branch Pizza on Gender Road. In true Brock style, they are green and white!

Check them out and grab a good book to read!
