CONGRATULATIONS DREW!
Each year the staff of Canal Winchester Middle School remember Brock by giving a unique and touching award called the Brock “B-Rock” Johnson Resilience Award. The award is given to one 8th grade student. Students are nominated by the 8th grade staff and then voted on by the entire CWMS staff. This year’s recipient was Drew Maksim! Terry and Kristi were honored to attend the awards ceremony to present Drew with a gift and a t-shirt that is only given to award recipients. This award is very special because it is not something sponsored by the foundation; the award was started by the school and continues to be part of their annual end-of-the-year awards program.
