SPREADING CHRISTMAS CHEER
For the fourth year over 200 volunteers spent 11 days in December doing random acts of kindness in the Canal Winchester and Pickerington communities. We gave out 9,300 items over the 11 days including 6,000 rolls of wrapping paper, candy bars, chapstick, Starbucks gift cards, Kroger gift cards, scotch tape, bows and Cheryl’s Cookies. We go door to door with the wrapping paper and hand out our other goodies outside of Kroger stores in Canal Winchester and Pickerington. We have seen over the last four years the general public going from being skeptical of us and thinking we want something to being super excited when they see BSF volunteers out and about. It is always a great time and our volunteers are awesome!
